Model of the day : Jon Kortajarena

Everybody heard about Jon Kortajarena. He is a male model from Spain. Jon is 26 years old. In 2009 Forbes ranked Kortajarena 8th in The World's 10 Most Successful Male Models.

He was discovered while vacationing in Barcelona when he was with a friend who was invited to attend a fashion show. An fashion agent noticed him and proposed him to be a model. He said: “Why not?” .

His first professional experience was a fashion show for Roberto Verino.He left his hometown for Paris. In 2004, at the age of 18, Kortajarena became the face of Just Cavalli for Roberto Cavalli's .His debut was at the fall Milan and Paris fashion weeks for Emporio Armani and John Galliano. Two months later, in New York, Steven Meisel photographed him for Versace.

Kortajarena's other runway credentials include walking for Bottega Veneta, Dolce & Gabbana, Salvatore Ferragamo, Carolina Herrera, Giorgio Armani, John Galliano, and Chanel in Milan and Paris.

Some facts about Jon!

Kortajarena speaks Euskera.
His mother is a hairdresser and she often styles his hair.
If he was not modeling he would be studying Publicity and Public Relations; however, he notes that interior designing, cinema and photography are some fields he has always been curious about.
His hobbies include watching independent films, reading books by Paulo Coelho, sunbathing, going to the mountains with friends, and listening to music.
He describes himself as an 'ultimate romantic'.
He is currently involved in the 212 VIP Carolina Herrera perfume promotion of 2011.

Vogue China March 2012

My favourite models, Isabeli Fontana and Natasha Poly are on the cover of Chinese Vogue! I'm very happy to see them together.

Natasha Poly is Russian. She is 1,78 m.

With brilliant blue eyes, a killer jawline, and the bodacious curves that have come to be associated with Brazilian mannequins, Isabeli Fontana. She is 176 cm. Fontana has two children.

Natasha has been on the cover of Vogue 23 times.

Natasha is known for her walk, legs and cheekbones.

Isabeli has 6 tattoos, even one on her lip.

In 2008, Fontana made her debut on the Forbes The World's 15 Top-Earning Models list at place 11, having earned $3 million

Since 2004, Poly has appeared in many advertisement campaigns, including Gucci, Prada, Lanvin, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, Dsquared2, H&M, Printemps, Blumarine, Nina Ricci, Missoni,Calvin Klein, Givenchy, Balmain, Jimmy Choo, MaxMara, Alberta Ferretti, Dolce & Gabbana, and others and has walked the runway for notable brands such as Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Chanel, Miu Miu, Gucci, Prada, Versace, Victoria's Secret and many other blue chip fashion labels.

In my opinion, at the moment the most known models are Isabeli and Natasha.
