Tradition: In adolescence, Louis has been preparing travel bags for Napoleon III's trips. He opened his first store in 1854. But, in 1987, when 95 year from his death have passed, the company merges with the largest luxury conglomerate worldwide, Moet Hennessy. From 1997, Louis Vuitton is on the top, thanks to the avant-garde vision of American designer MarcJacobs.
Style: The monogram of LV in shades of ocher represents a legacy, a distinctive sign, and a company’s “toy” which won the status of a symbol.
