Haute Couture SS 2012

                                                                    Chanel

                                                                  Jean Paul Gaultier

Jean Paul Gauliter's collection channeled the late Amy Winehouse. The singer's famous flair echoed in the designer's styles from the retro-vibe, to the beehive hair, to the winged eyeliner. On runway was Amy’s atmosphere, even one model was smoking on the catwalk.

                                                                         Elie Saab

In my opinion Elie Saab presented pretty pastels in flowing girly fabrics. Saab, known for his red carpet dresses , added rosettes, lace and a hint of sparkle to make his outfits really stand out.

                                                                 Alexandre Vauthier

                                                                           Valentino

Christian Dior

Christian Dior , French fashion house is giving a nod to fashion of decades past with a 1950s inspired collection. . This year Gaytten kept the collection much more demure and sophisticated in true Dior style, as opposed to last year’s eccentric Couture showing, which included clowns. Each of the looks presented were of breathtaking beauty, many with the signature Shorter dresses added a playful element to the In true 1950s style, the models wore their hair sleek and bobbed, with minimal makeup allowing the strong, graceful tones of the show to take centre stage.

My favourite collection is Elie Saab one. It is very feminine and in the same time very sexy.
In my opinion the surprise of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week 2012 was Alexandre Vauthier. His collection was cherry on top. I really enjoyed watching it.
